Europe
Europe is a beautiful country. Beautiful landscapes, buildings, and towns. Here and now in this essay I will give you a little bit of history on Europe. I hope you enjoy it.
Europe advanced the most of all the other continents between ad 500 and the mid 1700s. After the fall of the mighty Roman Empire, Europe split into many city-states. These city-states had their differences and similarities. They were not internally organized or developed. There was much disagreement over politics and religion. The king thought that he was in ultimate power, and the church thought that they needed more of a say on things. However, they both relied on each other. The king needed loyalty from the pope and the pope needed power from the king.
Europe persevered through many hardships during its time such as the Black Death and many wars and battles between city-states and countries. We know that in 1492 Europe had Christopher Columbus discover America, leading the world into the colonial period.
Europe still held much power even though America and Spain were major threats. Europeans still had many quarrels ,internally and externally, leading to many sad deaths and even causing two world wars. The Industrial period will also take place in Europe, giving many people jobs, and making many fantastic goods for Europe and the world.
I hope you enjoyed this brief history of Europe
